The CPA's reference guide to international accounting. (Accounting)

by Hudack, Lawrence R.

Abstract- The globalization of markets has increased the need for accountants who are knowledgeable about developments in the international accounting field. Such accountants are now in high demand in the US as many companies are committed to the development of internal resources that can aid them in the exploration of business opportunities in fast-growing international markets. Matters which internationally-oriented accountants must keep informed about include the state of key economies, the tax structures in these countries and the financial reporting requirements governing foreign companies that do business in them. A good way for accountants to keep in touch with important issues in international accounting would be to read authoritative business, accounting and tax journals. A reference guide of 18 professional journals that target accountants and financial analysts is provided.

The CPA Journal is broadly recognized as an outstanding, technical-refereed publication aimed at public practitioners, management, educators, and other accounting professionals. It is edited by CPAs for CPAs. Our goal is to provide CPAs and other accounting professionals with the information and news to enable them to be successful accountants, managers, and executives in today's practice environments.
