Remembering Emanuel Saxe

I would like to take the opportunity to commemorate and celebrate the centennial in August 2003 of the birth of my beloved mentor and dear friend, the late Emanuel Saxe. Mannie was managing editor of The CPAJ Journal from 1946 to 1956 and did much to enhance its standards and stature.

Over more than three score years as educator, scholar, and practicing CPA, Dr. Saxe inspired generations of students and colleagues to pursue their careers at the very highest levels of professionalism, devoted to the public interest.
