Billing itself as “the complete online resource for business professionals,” Pro2Net (www.pro2net.com, formerly known as AccountingNet) has been growing by leaps and bounds, exemplifying the Internet’s potential to make information easier to access and use.
In June, Pro2Net made news by hiring Rick Telberg, formerly of Accounting Today and Thomson Financial, as senior editorial director of its accounting business unit.
Keeping up with the times, Pro2Net has been making good on its plans to expand the website’s offerings beyond accounting to include critical business information for professionals in the legal, human resources, insurance, and financial services sectors.
In its accounting area (accounting.pro2net.com), the website offers assorted weekly online newsletters, search capabilities, links to a wide range of resources (including www.cpajournal.com) for research, networking and career development, e-commerce, and, most recently, competitively priced online CPE.
This is a website worth checking out—and watching—as it continues to reinvent itself.
