CALIFORNIA SOCIETY OF CPAS NAMES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Susan B. Waters has been named executive director of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), a 30,000-member organization and one of the largest CPA societies in the nation.

Waters, formerly executive director of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the San Francisco Medical Society, assumed the position as CalCPA executive director on July 1 at the organization's headquarters in Redwood City. *

The CPA Journal is broadly recognized as an outstanding, technical-refereed publication aimed at public practitioners, management, educators, and other accounting professionals.
