CPA FIRM NAMED 1999 ACCOUNTING ADVOCATE

The United States Small Business Administration's (SBA) eastern region recently named Trachtenberg & Parker, LLP, its 1999 Accounting Advocate of the Year. The honor recognizes the firm's capabilities in assisting small businesses take advantage of SBA programs. The firm was nominated for the award by the Long Island Development Corporation (LIDC) for helping small businesses and not-for-profits obtain loans through the LIDC. The firm is also involved in a program that assists women-owned businesses on Long Island. *
