ERNST & YOUNG ESTABLISHES INNOVATIVE GRADUATE DEGREE

In order to attract a wider range of college graduates to join their firm, Ernst & Young has entered into arrangements with the University of Notre Dame and the University of Virginia to create a master's degree program for non-accounting majors. The program is called Your Master Plan (YMP), and students split their time between campus classrooms and experience at Ernst & Young. The program takes 15 months to complete and enables students to meet the 150-hour educational standard now required for membership in the AICPA and for the CPA certificate in most states. The students will gain their experience working in the assurance and advisory business services segment. *
