GLOBAL INSTITUTE FOR TAXATION CALLS FOR PAPERS

The Global Institute for Taxation at St. John's University recently announced a call for papers for its international conference, to be held on September 30 and October 1, 1999, in New York City. The institute has as its objective the search for innovative taxation systems, techniques, and philosophies in order to develop taxation tenets that will be accepted by the global community as fair and equitable.

The newly formed institute is the work of two professors at St. John's, Patrick R. Colabella and Richard J. Coppinger. Professor Colabella, the program director, should be contacted for more information about the conference and the papers (colabelp@stjohns.edu). *
