The conference is designed to let practitioners know firsthand about the business strategies and operating practices of non-CPA organizations that are acquiring CPA practices. There will be a panel of managing partners from firms that have been acquired by these organizations. Also planned are discussions on the legal and regulatory implications of these changes, merger and alliance strategies being employed by traditional CPA firms, and new service opportunities CPAs are creating to compete effectively in a dynamic world. The former PCPS, now called Partnering for CPA Practice Success, is co-sponsoring the conference. For more information call (800) CPA-FIRM. *
