The United States Supreme Court has denied the Florida Accountancy Board's petition for certiorari in the matter of Stephen M. Miller, CPA, and American Express. The board sought to overturn a decision of the Court of Appeals that holding out as a CPA while performing tax and accounting services for American Express Tax and Business Services (TBS) was permitted under free speech as per the first amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
